College Lacrosse

Lacrosse is considered one of the oldest ball sports in America. It was played by the Native Americans even before the colonies settled in the country.

College lacrosse began in the late 1800s where different collegiate teams competed against one another for the college championships. Throughout the years, college lacrosse has constantly grown in popularity and it is now played by many college students.

One of the more popular lacrosse teams in NCAA Division II is Bentley College. Bentley College lacrosse has achieved excellence in the sport because it offers scholarships, off-campus programs and financial aids for young or collegiate lacrosse players.

Mitchell College is a provisional member of NCAA Division III that provides learning resource centers such as athletic sponsorships and financial aids for Mitchell college lacrosse players who have the potential to become great lacrosse players. Also part of the NCAA Division III is the Bridgewater State College Club for lacrosse, which offers highly successful programs for men lacrosse players.

In college lacrosse, maintaining the highest college lacrosse scores is quite difficult to achieve, and teams and individual players strive to improve their standings in the NCAA rankings. College lacrosse is not only intended for men and boys as there also college girl’s lacrosse as well. The Lemoyne college lacrosse is one of the leading women lacrosse teams in the NCAA.

As a lacrosse player or a coach, it is important to know all the rules of the game, which are directed and established by the NCAA Lacrosse Committee, the USILA and the conferences being participated by the coaches and players. In regard to this, the college lacrosse rankings may still depend on the dignity and integrity of the game as well as adherence to the spirit of the rules.
