Tennis players spend most of their time playing competitive tennis from one tennis tournament to another. The Nasdaq 100 tennis tournament was established in 1985 and it is the most important tournament after the four Grand Slam tournaments. Aside from the big tennis competitions, there are also smaller competitions in which tennis players can test their prowess in the game. Some tennis tournaments are more lucrative than others in terms of prize money and prestige, and these usually vary according to the generosity of the sponsorship.
